Carrie Lyons Auwarter, a 1996 Sem graduate, is our Director of Admissions. She spearheads all recruiting initiatives and works closely with the Marketing and PR Coordinator to promote the school to prospective students and their families. In addition to her admissions responsibilities, she oversees the financial aid program and helps all new students adjust to life at Sem. As one of two designated hosts for our residential program, Carrie lives at our house on Bidwell and interacts with our international students on a daily basis.

Carrie graduated from Lehigh University in 2000 with a B.A. in economics and Spanish. Before joining Sem’s Admissions Office, she worked in New York City as an economic consultant and in Chicago as an advertising assistant for a small magazine.
