Janie Urban Constantine '66 is the school's Director of Development. Janie and her staff are responsible for the Annual Fund, the Soiree, many of the events at the school and for the publication of the Semafore, the Annual Report and a mid-winter publication. The development office works closely with the Board of Directors of the Alumnae Association on the Holiday Bazaar, Reunion and other events throughout the year.

Janie graduated from SUNY at Buffalo. Before coming to Buffalo Seminary she was the Director of Development at Elmwood Franklin School, Director of Trinity Center and owned her own business. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Council of Advancement and Support of Education and the Planned Giving Consortium of WNY. Janie and her husband, Robert, have three children.
