Sem's Annual Fund is the cornerstone of Sem's fundraising efforts. As in most independent schools, the tuition at Sem does not cover the actual cost to educate its students. Sem alumnae, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, friends and trustees together contribute to fund the gap between the cost of providing a Sem education and the tuition income the school receives.
A strong Annual Fund provides essential support for Sem's faculty compensation, exceptional academic offerings and expanded opportunities in athletics, the arts and the community. A strong Annual Fund also provides scholarships and ensures Sem's ability to keep tuition competitive.
Currently, 16% of Sem's operating budget comes from Annual Fund and other volunteered contributions. Each and every gift to Sem's Annual Fund does make a meaningful difference.
Please join our Sem community in continuing this very important tradition with a gift of support to the Annual Fund.
Gifts of all sizes are appreciated - what counts the most to Sem is your participation
