How To Apply
Applying to Buffalo Seminary is a selective process. We are looking for students who demonstrate intellectual curiosity, academic achievement, and involvement in their communities and extracurricular activities.
Students are admitted in grades 9 through 12 with preference given to 9th and 10th grade applications. Each applicant is carefully evaluated by the Admission Committtee to determine her ability to succeed at Sem.

Application Checklist
Campus Visit and Interview
Applicants are encouraged to visit Buffalo Seminary. If an applicant is unable to visit, a phone interview can be arranged.
Testing
Local applicants are required to take the Buffalo Seminary entrance exam. Residential applicants whose native language is not English must arrange to take the SSAT, IELTS or TOEFL. Other residential applicants should contact the Admissions Office.
Application for Admission - Part I, II and III with application fee
School Transcript
Please arrange for an official transcript, including grades, attendance and standardized test scores to be sent to Buffalo Seminary.
Recommendations
We require a minimum of one recommendation from the applicant's English teacher and one from a mathematics or science teacher.
Tuition Assistance Application
Families of day students may be eligible for financial aid. Please contact the Admissions Office for a complete financial aid application.
