Mrs. Kanika Durland
Kanika received a BA in English from Hartwick College in 2008, and an MA in English, with a concentration in American Literature, from the University of Notre Dame in 2012.
She is particularly interested in the works of Herman Melville, and the literature accompanying the American Renaissance. At Notre Dame, she served as an instructor in the Diversity Practicum, facilitating student discussions about equity and social justice. She is committed to continuing these important discussions as co-diversity director and as advisor to the Justice League.
