How to Apply

Applying to SEM is a selective process. We are looking for girls who demonstrate intellectual curiosity, academic achievement, and involvement in their communities and extracurricular activities.

We know that applying to a new school can be intimidating and overwhelming. Whether you’re applying to be a day student, domestic boarding student, or international boarding student, SEM’s admissions team is here to make the process as straightforward as possible.

Please click on one of the buttons below for specific application steps for day students, domestic boarding students or international boarding students.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the application process or if you have additional questions about life at SEM. You may contact us by email at admission@buffaloseminary.org, phone: 716-885-6780, or fax: 716-885-6785.

Note: Students are admitted in grades 9 through 12 with preference given to 9th and 10th grade applications. Each applicant is carefully evaluated by the Admission Committee to determine her ability to succeed at SEM.
