If your school is unavailable to send transcripts at this time, SEM will accept the most recent report cards/grade reports: contact atramposch@buffaloseminary.org for more information.
Step 6: Recommendation Forms

- 1 Math OR Science Recommendation

Step 7 (Optional): Compose a Scholarship Essay
Any student interested in applying for one of the scholarships must complete her application file and submit a separate 300-word scholarship essay.
In the essay, the student should outline her interests and achievements through middle school as well as her academic goals for SEM.
It is not necessary to file for financial aid to apply for one of these scholarships.

**Note: If you would prefer, SEM also accepts the SSAT and the TABS applications in lieu of our application. SSAT and TABS applications include essay, transcripts, and recommendation forms.
Step 3: Submit Application Fee
Please submit a $50 application fee.
If you would like to pay using another method, please contact Laura Munson in the Admission office at (716) 885-6780 ext. 253.
Your application will not be considered complete until this fee is received.

While you can learn a lot about a school from our website or requesting additional information, the best way to learn about SEM is to schedule a visit and experience our community for yourself.
It is also important for us to meet you. As part of the application process we require every applicant to have an interview on campus.
E-mail us to schedule a visit to Buffalo Seminary and an interview with the Admission Office. If you are unable to visit campus, you can e-mail us to set up a Skype interview instead.

Note: Students are admitted in grades 9 through 12 with preference given to 9th and 10th grade applications. Each applicant is carefully evaluated by the Admission Committee to determine her ability to succeed at SEM.
